Good: In many countries, the middle finger is used as a pointer, simply because it is the longest finger.
Bad: In the U.S., the middle finger is offensive.

Good: In the U.S. and some countries, the forefinger and the middle finger to form a V is a symbol for peace.
Bad: In certain countries, this is equivalent to the middle finger in the U.S.

Good: Patting someone on the head is a sign of affection, adoration, and a "good job" pat.
Bad: In most Asian countries, this is a sign of disrespect. It means that they are considered as a child.

Good: Making a ring by connecting the thumb and the forefinger is a sign for money.
Bad: In some countries, this can be a phallic symbol.
